Indecomm-Mortgage U is proud to announce that we have been selected by Campus MBA, the education division of the Mortgage Bankers Association to conduct FHA training for a team of employees from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. The training will cover an overview of FHA residential, senior housing and hospital programs including renovation lending, reverse mortgages as well as new construction and refinancing of assisted living and acute care facilities programs.
The agenda is very comprehensive and required creating a new FHA manual to include information about the responsibilities of FHA’s Office of Regulatory Affairs, lender approval and oversight and the Office of Healthcare Programs responsible for the Section 232 senior housing program and Section 242 for acute care hospitals. Participants will learn key aspects of all the programs and develop an understanding of differences between residential and commercial requirements. Being selected to design and implement this training program is a testament to the depth of knowledge and quality provided by Indecomm-Mortgage U instructors.
MU has had a long history of working as a preferred provider for Campus MBA. We have provided their government loan training in all delivery methods for many years. We are very excited about the opportunity to work with MBA in providing a comprehensive mortgage training program for future leaders at FHA. Indecomm-Mortgage U is the author of the FHA Practical Guide used by lenders across the country to research best practices and FHA requirements from lender approval through insuring.
When Fannie Mae rolled out FHA in Desktop Underwriter they called Indecomm-Mortgage U to learn the underwriting differences between FHA and conventional community lending programs. Indecomm-Mortgage U has never lost focus of the importance of FHA, even through the days when FHA was less than 3% of total mortgage production nationwide. There are a lot of choices for FHA training and we hope that you can see the same value in
Indecomm-Mortgage U’s Education Through True Understanding as the Federal Housing Administration and Fannie Mae. We would take great care in the honor and privilege of earning your business too.
